BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - Raymond F. Lezinsky (Twiggy) of Bridgeport, formerly of Fairfield, died Monday, Nov. 10. He was 70.
Lezinsky was born in Fairfield, to Frank and Helen Lezinsky, he had been a town resident for most of his life prior to moving to Bridgeport. He retired following nearly 40 years of work for the Fairfield Public Works Department. He was a captain for the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department.
Lezinsky is survived by his wife, Rita; sisters, Patricia Dobyan (Kim) of Fairfield and Mary Lou Lezinsky of Hickory, N.C.; brother, Francis Lezinsky of Marietta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield with the Rev. Victor Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
