FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Ronald J. Cacciola, of Fairfield, formerly of Redding, died Wednesday, April 6. He was 72.
He was born in Bridgeport to Patrick and Genevieve (Connors) Cacciola and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was an interior designer for more than 40 years and owned his own business, Ron Cacciola Interior Planners, in Westport.
He is survived by his children, Ted and Caroline Cacciola of Fairfield; and sisters, Patricia Svelnys and her husband, Algis, and Laurie Zingo, all of Fairfield..
A Memorial Mass, with military honors, will be celebrated on Monday at 9:30 a.m., at Holy Family Church, 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Interment will be private.
