Rose E. Marks, 94, Of Fairfield, Worked For D.M. Read’s Department Store

Marks was a longtime resident of Fairfield and worked at D. M. Read's, Fairfield Department Store and l'Etoile in Westport.

Marks is survived by her children, Edward J. Stamper (Bridgeport) and Rosemarie Clune (Washington, DC); eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave, Bridgeport. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Assumption Church, Fairfield. Burial will be in Mt. Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.
