Mills was born in Southport to John and Mary (Barschuk) Zdanowich. She was a secretary at Aluminum Company and a lifelong member and communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairfield.
Mills is survived by her niece, Mazie Zdanowich; sister-in-law, Lucy Zdanowich, both of Fairfield; and brother-in-law, Henry Kornacki of Seymour. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Stanley Mills; aunt, Helen (Barschuk) Parchimovicz; brother, Stanley; sisters, Mary Martha, Helen, Jennie, Julia, (Judy) and Stella; and nephews, Michael and John.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. directly at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Interment to follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
