DARIEN, Conn. -- Stephen F. Zangrillo, the founder of the Darien Sport Shop, died Wednesday, July 8, at the age of 91.
He was born Dec. 26, 1923.
He is survived by his wife Yolanda Zangrillo. his brother Robert Zangrillo; and his four children, Stephen F. Zangrillo Jr., Anthony Zangrillo, Stephanie Zangrillo, and Gina Zangrillo. Also surviving are his six grandchildren: Stephen F. Zangrillo III, Nicholas and Samantha Neville and Gregory, Douglas and Allison Reilly.
There are no calling hours.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of St. John, 1986 Post Road, Darien.
