Golas was born Feb. 18, 1921, in St. Louis, Mo., to Oscar and Mary Huson Schorer. She worked at the Westport Famous Artists School.
Golas is survived by her daughter, Judith Paradis (Robert) of Milford; step-daughter, Beverly Rega (Charles); stepson, Gary Golas (Robbyn); 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husbands, Robert Belknap and Harry Golas; and stepson, Robert Golas.
Calling hours are Monday, Nov. 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. in The Gregory F Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Ave., Milford. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
