FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Thelma Dolores Gelormini of Fairfield died Saturday, Oct. 19. She was 82.
Gelormini was born April 22, 1931, in New York City, daughter of Anthony and Antoinette Fasano Gelormini. She worked for the Norden's Co. as an assembler for many years until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Black Rock, where she served as a eucharistic minister. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Gelormini is survived by her sister in-law, Gloria Gelormini of Hudson, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Antoinette Gombeda of Stratford, Geraldine Gemmola, Georgette Gelormini both of Hudson, Fla., William and Glen Gelormini both of Houston, Texas; nine great nieces and nephews; and three great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Joseph, Vincent, William; and sister, Claudia Gelormini.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St., Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. directly to St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Black Rock, with Rev. Peter Lynch officiating. Interment will be private in St. Michael's Cemetery.
