Thomas Maurice Connery III, 67, Former Fairfield Resident

WASHINGTON CROSSING, Pa. - Thomas Maurice Connery III of Washington Crossing, formerly of Fairfield, Conn., died Friday, Sept. 19. He was 67.

Connery was born in Nahant, Mass., to Thomas M. and Alyce S. (O'Conner) Connery of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport. He graduated from Notre Dame High School and served in the U.S. Army. He recently worked for Riegel Printing Company and for many years at Munich Reinsurance Company.

Connery is survived by his son, Thomas Connery IV (Alicia); daughter, Edain (Tony) Berardi both of Shelton; sister, Patricia (Larry) Rossi of Methuen, Mass.; brothers, Brian (Marge) of Milford and Kevin Connery of Black Rock; nieces and nephews; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Ave., Bridgeport.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 directly at St. Ann RC Church, 481 Brewster St., Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
