FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Timothy John Ference, a former Southport resident, died Oct. 11 in Torrington, Conn. He was 56.
Ference worked as a mechanic and had a lifelong love of cars and motorcycles.
He was predeceased by his father, Francis E. Ference Sr. He is survived by his mother, Mary L. Ference; two sisters, Emily Marzulla and Susan (Stan) Prager; two brothers, Hank (Joann) Ference and Thomas (Leonor) Ference; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at Edmund W. Dougiello Funeral Home in Fairfield. The family will receive friends from the conclusion of prayers until 8 p.m. Burial will be private.
