FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Wilbur Wallace Troland of Fairfield died Sunday, Sept. 21. He was 91.
Troland was born Nov. 7, 1922, in Bridgeport, to William and Viola Troland and was raised in Lordship. He graduated with a degree in journalism from Ohio University. He served in World War II in the U.S. Navy as a pilot. He ran his advertising agency for 60 years.
Troland is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Douglas and Lisa; son-in-law, Greg Stebner; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Funeral services will be private.
