To the Editor,
I plan to vote for Laura Devlin on Election Day, and I urge all other residents of Connecticut’s 134th District to do the same. Laura has made an impact on the local level, and is ready to fight for us as State Representative. As an elected official and a volunteer for many organizations and events in Fairfield, Laura is a courageous leader who has worked hard, and shown her commitment to community and dedication to public service.
Laura’s experience positions her perfectly to represent the 134th District in Hartford. As a working mom of two children raised and educated in Fairfield, Laura commuted on Metro-North to NYC for nearly 15 years. She understands the issues faced by working parents, as well as the concerns of commuters. Laura created her own successful company in 1997 and knows the challenges small business owners face each day.
Laura is not a single-issue candidate. She is ready and able to represent Fairfield residents on the important issues of government spending, taxes, and transportation. The policies Laura supports will curb spending, control tax increases and improve the infrastructure and safety of Metro North. These improvements will help businesses succeed, encourage job growth, and help create more opportunities for Connecticut families.
Please join me in supporting Laura Devlin for State Representative. She is the right choice for CT’s 134th District.
