To the editor:

I'll keep this short and to the point. During my terms on the Fairfield RTM, I worked with many smart, committed people who gave up their time to serve others. But one clearly stands out to me: Cristin McCarthy-Vahey.

For her complete integrity, her respect for every point of view, her open-minded approach to reviewing a problem, and then her unwavering determination and wisdom to find the right solution.

I'm thrilled she is running to be our State Representative in District 133. With many challenges facing our state's government and economic development, we need people like Cristin McCarthy-Vahey representing us in Hartford.

Please join me in voting for Cristin on Election Day in November.
