To the editor:
We are writing in support of Bill Perugini as RTM of District 9 (formerly district 10) in Fairfield.
We are independents, have lived in Fairfield since 2003 and are raising a family here. Having met and spoken with Bill several times on various issues, we have found him to be open, honest, responsive and above all determined to properly reflect his neighbors’ views fairly in his representative role.
Bill is generous with his time, listens attentively and is clearly striving to make Fairfield a better place. With the reconstruction of the beach area after Hurricane Sandy, home values have been upgraded and will provide a much higher base of tax revenue for the town.
Now more than ever we need to elect officials like Bill who can help implement fiscal responsibility and demonstrate accountability to the taxpayer.
