Fairfield Letter: Vote For Someone New

To the editor:

I think we live in the greatest country, the greatest state and the best town. I don't think being a politician should be a career. I don't think that showing ID to vote is suppressing the vote. I don't believe the negative ads on TV.

I do my own research, look objectively at a person's record and consider what they've done and not what they now promise.

When I don't think things are moving in the right direction, I vote for someone new. The one party rule that we have in Connecticut has not been good for the people of our state.

It should be about working together to make our town, state and country the best they can be for all of our citizens. It should be about the people not the politics.

When something isn't working, try a different approach. We need checks and balances to keep on track and not veer too far to the right or the left. It's not too late and every single vote makes a difference.

Voting is a very special right and it carries a big responsibility! I hope you will join me in supporting the entire Republican ticket this year, not for partisan reasons but because we need to move to more balance in our state government before it's too late to get back to the middle track.

Let's start moving Connecticut back to being the prosperous state it was when I moved here over 30 years ago!
