Letter: Coyner Has 'Drive' To Help Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield Daily Voice accepts signed, original letters to the editor. Send letters to fairfield@dailyvoice.com.

We support Kevin Coyner for state representative from the 132nd district. Kevin is a humble member of our community; many in our neighborhood have experienced his unselfish acts. A couple of small examples can provide a window into Kevin’s character. During one of our recent storms, a neighborhood street providing access to Pine Creek was blocked by a downed tree. Without hesitation, Kevin cleared the tree with his chainsaw, reopening access to our main thoroughfare. After mowing his
lawn, Kevin crosses the street to mow his elderly neighbor’s lawn.

Mr. Coyner has been tirelessly going door to door to ask for our support in this race for state representative. He is not the type to bring a camera along for a potential photo op; instead, he spends whatever time we can afford him listening to the concerns of the people in the 132nd district. If you can give him a few minutes of your time, you will find that he is knowledgeable and fully engaged in the issues that are important to all of us living in Fairfield  women, men and children.

Kevin definitely has the skills and knowledge to get our voices heard in Hartford. He comes from a diverse background that includes the private sector, politics and public service, including legislative experience in the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. He has a proven record as a member of the Greenwich Retirement Board and has served on the Greenwich RTM. Now let’s put him to work for us in Fairfield.

On Aug. 14, vote for Kevin Coyner in the Democratic primary for state representative in the 132nd district. He has the drive, integrity and ability to get the job done.
