To the editor:

Fiscal and wise use of resources is vital for a good quality of life for the citizens of Fairfield. This is why I am supporting Chris Tymniak for first selectman.

Prudent use of taxes that go toward the town can ensure effective and successful results. The residents of Fairfield want great education, clean and safe streets, beautiful parks and shops and a healthy environment. Fairfield has much to offer us.

My wife and three grown children have been living in Fairfield for 20 years. They were educated in the Fairfield public schools and we are very pleased with the education they received. I have worked in education for 40 years as a teacher and professor. I also have given service to Fairfield through my involvement in many organizations. However, I worry Fairfield might be slipping, and this is why I am confident Chris Tymniak is the right person for this important office.

I would like to see Fairfield restored as the number-one town in Connecticut for education and overall quality of life.

Joseph Pagnozzi, running for Dist. 3-RTM in Fairfield
