FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Tom Drew is a former state representative from the 132rd district, which covers Fairfield.
I am pleased to strongly support Mike Tetreau and Cristin McCarthy Vahey for election as Fairfield’s first selectman and selectman, respectively. Mike and Cristin both have exceptional backgrounds and have served Fairfield for many years as elected leaders on our Board of Finance and minority leader on our Representative Town Meeting, among other offices. I am challenged to identify two individuals in our entire town who have greater direct experience in managing Fairfield’s development, public schools, finances and public safety.
Mike Tetreau and Cristin McCarthy Vahey both have advanced graduate education and, in my personal experience over many years, are simply very bright and competent leaders.
Both Mike’s and Cristin’s actions over many years of serving Fairfield demonstrate a commitment to maintaining Fairfield as the uniquely marvelous community we all value and to advance its position for residents, children and businesses to thrive in these modern changing times.
Please join me in voting for Mike Tetreau and Cristin McCarthy Vahey on Election Day. They will do an exceptional job for all of us.
