It is with great pleasure that I support Kevin Coyner for State Representative from the 132nd District in the upcoming Democratic primary on August 14.
As a third-generation Fairfield resident who served for 31 years on Fairfield's Police Department, with four of those years as Chief, I would like to think that I have become an accurate judge of people.
Kevin is a man of integrity. He is honest and he has the characteristics that we idealize in our public officials. I know that on a daily basis as a firefighter, he demonstrates caring, compassion and self-sacrifice. Kevin also has real-world business experience.
Kevin is precisely the type of person we need as our Representative in Hartford. His background and expertise in finance is extensive. His international experience brings fresh ideas and perspective. His U.S. Senate experience makes him ready-made for Hartford.
As his neighbor, I know that Kevin has Fairfield’s interest at heart, and the background, knowledge and skill sets that go beyond Fairfield. Kevin speaks to the issues that we face today.
Let's elect a candidate in this primary with integrity and that is already qualified and won't have to grow into the job. Let’s elect a candidate that takes action and looks for positive change to better our lives here in town and our state.
