Dear Editor,
I am delighted to support Heather Dean for State Representative in the 134th District.
Heather and I served on the First Church Congregational Outreach Board together. Heather has been a leader in our fundraising and community service efforts.
As a leader, Heather doesn’t hesitate to roll up her sleeves and grab a shovel when working on a vegetable garden for Operation Hope, or to teach a group of sixth and seventh graders from our Faith in Action group how to bake brownies for the church's pasta dinner to support the Deacons' Fund.
Heather genuinely cares about people and devotes countless hours to making our church and our community a better place.
I know Heather will bring her work ethic and her helping nature to Hartford to do a great job for the people of the 134th District.
