Bridgeport Man Charged In Car Break-In From 2014 In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield Police arrested a Bridgeport man on charges of smashing a window of a vehicle parked outside Vinny’s Alehouse at 93 Post Road in Fairfield in 2014.

Fairfield Police arrested Isaias Rivera Monday and charged him with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and fifth-degree larceny.

Milford police discovered an outstanding arrest warrant for Isaias Rivera of 530 Brooks St. and turned him over to Fairfield Police on Monday. Rivera is charged with taking an iPhone and Garmin GPS from the vehicle, police said.

Fairfield Police had found fingerprints on the vehicle and sent them to the state crime lab for processing. The prints were later determined to belong to Rivera, police said. 

Rivera was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and fifth-degree larceny, police said.

His bond was set at $10,000. His court date is Aug. 3, according to police.
