Cars Damaged, Items Stolen At Fairfield Cinemas Saturday

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Police reported two cars were broken into Saturday night at the Fairfield Cinemas at Bullard Square.

The first complainant said he was in the Black Rock Turnpike cinema from 7 to 9 p.m. and returned to his car in the parking lot to find someone had broken into it and stolen a $150 Armani watch, two Samsung phones valued at $250 and a subwoofer and amplifier valued at $400, police said.

He also reported about $100 of damage to the car.

A second victim was at the cinema at the same time and came out to the parking lot to find someone had smashed the right rear window of his car. Stolen were: a $200 dash cam, a $65 Adidas backpack, a $25 Nike backpack, a Snoopy blanket valued at $10, a $10 Nike lunchbox and $10 in cash, police said.

Damages to the car were estimated at $500.
