FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield firefighters responded to the scene of a truck crash Monday into a rock wall on Burr Street that took down some power lines.

Fairfield firefighters blocked off the roadway while leaking transformer oil was cleared from the scene. Also, it was determined that the wires were live, and that many cars had driven through the dangerous accident scene, firefighters said.

"Thankfully no one was injury or killed at this incident," the Fairfield Fire Department said on Facebook.

"We urge all people to stay clear of any situation like this. Don't go under or near downed power lines. Don't drive through unknown fluids."
