Curtis Pistey, 55, and Joann Pistey, 54, were selling doctor-prescribed pills such as Oxycodone to a Fairfield man, who is still under investigation, police said.

Police seized $5,000 cash and more than 750 pills with a street value of $30,000 from the Easton home, Fairfield police said.

Fairfield Police Detective Antonio Granata said a lengthy investigation began earlier this year, when police said they learned that a Fairfield resident was selling large amounts of Oxycodone in town.

According to Granata, the man would go to the Pisteys' home on Adams Road in Easton on the same days that the couple would refill doctor-prescribed prescriptions for Oxycodone. The man would then return to Fairfield with a portion of that Oxcodone and sell it on the street, according to the report.

Curtis and Jane Pistey were each charged with: possession of narcotics; illegal distribution, sale and dispensing of prescription narcotics; sale of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school; conspiracy to commit sale of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school; conspiracy to commit illegal distribution, sale and dispensing of prescription narcotics and conspiracy to commit possession of narcotics, police said.

Curtis Pistey was released on $250,000 bond, while Joann Pistey was released on $100,000 bond. The two will be back in Bridgeport court on June 2, police said.
