Naida Muratbekova, 38, was charged with leaving a child unsupervised, police said. She was released on a promise to appear in court on March 6.

A concerned citizen called police when she noticed the child alone in a car seat in the car, police said.

She said the child was in the car for about 15 to 20 minutes before the mother came out and started loading her purchases in the car with her 13-year-old son, who had accompanied her into the warehouse store, police said.
