Police responded to the intersection of Route 7 and Old Mill Road just after midnight on Tuesday on a report of a car that gone off the road, police said. The car had front end damage and the 21-year-old driver complained of lower pain, but refused to be transported to the hospital for evaluation, according to police.

The driver said he might have been traveling too fast for conditions because he felt his front wheels lose traction due to the rain, police said. The car was towed from the scene, and the driver was given a written warning for failure to stay in the proper lane.
