Newly promoted Assistant Chief Roger Caisse and Lieutenant Kevin Polcer, as well as new firefighter Justin Crawford, took the oath of office at the ceremony on Wednesday. The ceremony was attended by the families of the members, as well as many current and retired firefighters from both Fairfield and neighboring departments.

After they were called by senior officers and Fairfield First Selectman Mike Tetreau to take the oath of office, each member had their badge pinned on them by members of their family as the room filled with applause for their accomplishments.
