FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield firefighters, using their off-road specialty vehicle dubbed Gator 1, came to the rescue of an injured hiker Friday afternoon at Lake Mohegan, according to a Facebook post. The hiker's accident occurred near the dog beach on the east side of Lake Mohegan.
