Ismael Campos of Garden Drive was charged with reckless endangerment and evading responsibility on Tuesday before being released on a promise to appear in court, according to the Connecticut Post.
In the incident, a 17-year-old from Easton was stopped because of a tractor-trailer on Sport Hill Road, the Post said. While the teen waited to be waved around the truck, the driver of the car behind the teen made aggressive maneuvers, the Post said.
The driver, identified as Campos, got around the stopped truck and drove up behind the young driver before forcing the car off off the road and into a tree, then drove off without stopping, according to the Connecticut Post.
The impact of the crash shattered the windows and deployed the air bag but there were no injuries, police told the Connecticut Post.
