Fairfield Police Ask For Assistance Identifying Theft Suspect

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Fairfield Police are looking for a suspect to a car break-in on June 22 between 1 and 2 p.m. at TJ Maxx.

The victim told police that bags of merchandise from other stores had been taken from her car.

According to police, the man was seen on a security camera a short time later attempting to return the items for cash at a Bridgeport business claiming to be the victim's husband.

The suspect is described as a white male with a weathered complexion, between the age of 35 and 45 with short dark hair.

He was seen wearing denim shorts, black shoes and a black t-shirt with a decorative logo that spelled "GOD" on the front.
