Officers will conduct two sobriety checkpoints Saturday on Reef Road and Fairfield Beach Road.

Fairfield Police Lt. James Perez said the checkpoints have multiple benefits, including making the roads safer by arresting those who operate motor vehicles under the influence of alcohol or drugs, alerting the public that law enforcement takes the issue of DUI seriously and increasing the presence of officers within the community.
