Fairfield Police Investigate Apparent Drowning

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Police say they are investigating an apparent drowning at a home on Evergreen Hill Road in Fairfield.

Fairfield Police Lt. Tom Mrozek said the department responded around 8 p.m. to a call from a home where a 28-year-old man had been found in a pool. The man was transported to a hospital, Mrozek said. 

The investigation is still ongoing, and the department is waiting to hear back from the hospital regarding the man's status, Mrozek said.
