Fairfield Police: Man Charged With Pushing Girlfriend Into Wall

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Police arrested a Fairfield man after he allegedly pushed his girlfriend into a wall, police said.

Police said George Verlezza, 130 Fairchild Ave. Apt. 213, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, police said.

Police said George Verlezza, of 130 Fairchild Ave. Apartment 213, was involved in a verbal argument with his girlfriend before the argument turned physical.

Verlezza was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, police said.

He was given a court date of Aug. 31 and posted his bond of $250, police said.
