FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A sneaky customer at a Fairfield supermarket brewed up a scheme to get a coffee maker without purchasing one, police said.

The Keurig Green Mountain K10 model mini-brewing system seen here is one of the company's many models of coffee makers. It is not clear which model was taken from the Stop & Shop.
