FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Police Union, C.O.P.S. Local #550, has awarded scholarships to children of its officers.  ·

The Fairfield Police Union Scholarship Fund presented 13 scholarships of $1,000 each to the children.

Eight of the recipients are graduating high school seniors and five are entering their sophomore years of college.
