FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A woman was seriously injured Monday morning when she was hit by a car in a Kings Highway East parking lot, police said.
The driver said she didn’t see the woman walking near Bed, Bath & Beyond because of the sun’s glare in her eyes, police said.
The victim, who suffered lacerations and an apparent concussion, was transported to St. Vincent’s Medical Center, police said.
The driver stayed at the scene and no charges have yet been filed.
Police are reviewing surveillance footage from a nearby building. No other details were available on the 9:05 a.m. incident late Monday morning.
