FAIRFIELD, Conn. – A 13-year-old Fairfield student was charged with marijuana possession at Roger Ludlowe Middle School Thursday, according to police reports.
The school’s dean searched the student’s locker after smelling the odor of fresh marijuana coming from the area, police said. A plastic baggie with less than half an ounce of the drug was found in a backpack inside the locker, according to police reports.
The student, a 13-year-old Fairfield resident, was issued a juvenile summons for possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor for offenders under 18. The incident still is being investigated by Fairfield police.
