BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – A Fairfield man charged in the death of a Bridgeport man in 2014 is now facing assault charges in connection with a fracas at a local diner, according to The Connecticut Post.
Dennis Berrios, 37, of Fairfield, has been out on bail awaiting trial on manslaughter charges in the death of 20-year-old Tyron Tate, The Connecticut Post said. Berrios is charged with hitting Tate with his pickup truck on Noble Avenue in 2014, police said.
Berrios was arrested Saturday, April 30, a short distance from New Colony Diner on Main Street after police said he pitched a fit over cold food, punched the elderly owner in the face, and made threats, The Connecticut Post said.
