FAIRFIELD, Conn. A Fairfield woman has been charged with stealing a pair of digital cameras from the home of a neighbor.
The owner of the cameras told police she allowed Kathleen Mascia, 49, of Rodgers Road, Fairfield, into her home on March 7 to use the phone and left her unattended for about 15 minutes. The next day she reported that a pair of Nikon digital cameras, with an estimated combined value of $550, were missing.
After an investigation, Fairfield Police filed for an arrest warrant for Mascia. She was arrested at Fairfield Police headquarters Friday evening and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on June 18.
