According to the police report, Sheriann Poloik, 39, called police after the argument with her husband, saying that they had been discussing the family business and he refused to listen.

She told officers that she had thrown a cup of water over his head, not hitting him but getting water all over, police said. When he left, he grabbed her face and pushed her out of the way in front of their 3-year-old daughter, police said.

The husband was not in the house when officers arrived, police said. When they contacted him, he said she had grabbed at him and tore his shirt, police said. Officers met with him and saw that he had several blood marks on his shirt and cuts on his forehead, police said.

While at police headquarters, Sheriann Poloik admitted that her husband had not touched her and that she had turned the argument physical, police said.

Poloik was charged with risk of injury to a minor, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. She was released on $2,500 bond and given a court date of May 15. No information regarding her court appearance was available.
