Former Fairfield Fencing Coach Pleads Guilty To Sexually Assaulting Student

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- A former fencing coach at Fairfield Ludlowe High School could spend four years in prison after pleading guilty on Tuesday, Dec. 24, to sexually assaulting a student, according to ctpost.com.

John Tejada, 36, was accused of assaulting his victim last year while coaching athletes from Ludlowe and Warde High Schools, ctpost.com reported.

This marks the third time since 2012 that a teacher or coach from Fairfield has been charged with sexual assault, according to ctpost.com.
