FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Four people, including two children, were injured in a two-car crash that occurred Friday morning on Burr Street in Fairfield.
The head-on collision happened around 9 a.m., and Fairfield police and an ambulance responded to the 911 call.
Police called for extra ambulances, and American Medical Response aided Fire Department members in providing medical attention.
Three ambulances and a district supervisor responded to the call for extra assistance, and within 15 minutes all four patients were transported to Bridgeport Hospital with serious injuries.
