Have You Seen Him? Suspect Stole Electronics From Housatonic CC

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — State police are seeking help in identifying a man who stole electronics in the early morning hours from Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport. 

Connecticut State Police are asking for help in identifying this suspect, who stole a black iPad, a black Galaxy S6 phone and a black iPhone 5 from Housatonic Community College.

The theft occurred at about 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, said troopers from Troop G in Bridgeport. 

A male suspect entered a room where the items were and took a black iPad, a black Galaxy S6 phone and a black iPhone 5, state police said.

The suspect was described as a black male, about 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8 and weighing 150 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a gray T-shirt, green cargo shorts and black sneakers.

The suspect was seen leaving Housatonic Community College, located at 900 Lafayette Blvd., at 6:50 a.m., state police said. The suspect was seen walking northwest on Lafayette Boulevard toward State Street. Hen was then seen crossing State Street headed toward Broad Street, state police said.

Anyone who has information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect, or has any information about the larceny and stolen items, is asked to call Trooper Castillo at 203-696-2500 or text TIP711 with any information to 274637. All calls and texts will remain confidential.
