Injured Jet Skier Rescued From Housatonic River By Shelton Firefighters

SHELTON, Conn. — A person injured in a jet ski collision was found clinging to the boat of a Good Samaritan on Saturday in the Housatonic River, according to the Shelton Fire Department.

The accident happened near the Sikorsky Bridge, according to a Facebook post. 

While out on the water, members of Marine 1 Company 4 were able to pull the man from the water and transport him to the dock, the post said. 

They moved the injured man to an ambulance. 

No further information was released on the accident.
