Kids Learn Safety At Fairfield's Bicycle Safety Rodeo

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Police Department and Fairfield PAL's (Police Activity League's) Bicycle Safety Rodeo, held last week drew many adults and children. The event was held in the parking lot of Jennings Beach on South Benson Road in Fairfield.

The Bicycle Safety Rodeo was free and open to any child 5-12 years of age to encourage and develop safe bicycling habits in young riders. It included riding stations, proper helmet fitting, bicycle inspections, a raffle and a family bicycle ride.
