Lawn, Mailboxes Damaged In Rollover Car Crash In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - A car rolled over and damaged several yards and mailboxes in a one-vehicle accident late Monday on Hulls Farm Road in Fairfield, police said.

Officers arrived to find a red Subaru flipped over in a yard after damaging 74 feet of lawn and smashing two mailboxes, police said. The driver, a 21-year-old woman, was standing next to the car, police said.

The driver told police she had lost control of the car but was fine, police said.

Due to the amount of damage to the car, an ambulance took her to St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport for an examination. The accident was under investigation by police.
