Shiloh Coram, 19, of Rushbrooke Lane, was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct in the incident, which occurred at 5 p.m. Sunday, the Citizen said.

The receptionist told police that Coram came to Supercuts at 1953 Black Rock Turnpike, he talked to his ex in the break room, she heard a loud bang and he walked out, according to the Fairfield Citizen.

The victim, who was initially found unconscious, was taken by ambulance to Bridgeport Hospital with a bump on her forehead, the Fairfield Citizen said.

When Coram was arrested by Shelton police at his home, he had a red mark on his face, and said that she had slapped him and that he didn't know what had happened to her, the Fairfield Citizen said.
