A 6-week-old infant was in the car at the time of the incident, police said.

Steven Shulman, 31, of Ruane Street, was charged with third-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor and sale of a controlled substance, police said. He was held on $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 29, police said.

At about 4:45 p.m. witnesses alerted Westport police to an ongoing domestic dispute in the station’s rear parking lot, police said.

Before Shulman was arrested, his vehicle was searched and officers found marijuana and butane honey oil, or “DAB,” along with packaging materials, scales and other paraphernalia associated with the manufacture and sale of DAB, police said.
