FAIRFIELD, Conn. – A white man in his 30s was found dead in a car in a parking lot of a Stop & Shop in Fairfield on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Connecticut Post .
A passerby reported a person sleeping in a car at the Stop & Shop at 760 Villa Ave., but when officers arrived they determined the man was dead, the Post said.
The man is believed to be a person who was reported missing in town Tuesday night, Deputy Police Chief Christopher Lyddy told the Post.
Foul play was not suspected, but the cause of death was not released by police, the Post said.
