Police received a complaint on Feb. 3 that an employee of the store on Bay Street was stealing. The complainant said that the manager, 32-year-old Gregory Neil of Norwalk, was over charging customers who were paying cash and charging customers for items but not entering them into the register, police said.

Police said that Neil was caught on surveillance video charging customers the proper amount, but entering a smaller amount in the register. He refused to explain his actions to police, so a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to police reports.

On Wednesday, March 8 police responded to the Ridgefield Police Department to retrieve Neil for the outstanding warrant. He was charged with three counts of sixth-degree larceny and released on a $500 bond.
