Man's Body Recovered From Water Near Dock For Bridgeport Ferry

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The body of a man, who was described only as Asian, was recovered from the water near the dock for the Bridgeport-Port Jefferson ferry Saturday, the Connecticut Post reported.

The body was found in the water at the end of the public safety dock for the Bridgeport-Port Jefferson ferry in Bridgeport.

First responders gathered on Ferry Access Road after a caller reported the body at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, the Post said. 

The body was removed from the water near the end of the public safety dock, police told the Post. An autopsy will be conducted as part of the investigation, the Post said.
